I think I decided to make movies when, as a child, I was reading One Thousand and One Nights and believed I saw what I was reading.

The Name of the Rose

TV Series - 2019

1327. The enlightened friar William of Baskerville and his young apprentice Adso investigate a series of mysterious deaths at an abbey. William realizes that the key to the mysteries lies in the heart of the abbey’s famous labyrinthine library.

While they continue to investigate, they must also prepare to debate a powerful Inquisitor. The verdict of this debate will dictate the future of politics and religion in Europe.

Max and Hélène

Film - 2015

Based on the novel by Simon Wiesenthal. Max is Jewish, Hélène is the daughter of an anti-Semitic fascist. Max is captured and Hélène, pretending to be Jewish, is deported alongside him. Once the war is over, Max searches for Hélène and learns that she is dead, killed by the sadistic SS officer Köller. Max's life purpose becomes to find the Nazi officer and avenge his love.
